{"id":107,"date":"2018-09-10T11:15:07","date_gmt":"2018-09-10T11:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/macsfuture.com\/?p=107"},"modified":"2018-09-10T11:15:07","modified_gmt":"2018-09-10T11:15:07","slug":"the-success-of-apple-pay-apple-isnider","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/macsfuture.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/10\/the-success-of-apple-pay-apple-isnider\/","title":{"rendered":"The Success of Apple Pay\/AppleInsider."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/articles\/18\/09\/09\/how-apple-pay-beat-the-odds-because-of-great-design\">AppleInsider.com has a nice overview and analysis<\/a> about how Apple\u2019s Apple service and technology has thrived. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/articles\/18\/09\/09\/how-apple-pay-beat-the-odds-because-of-great-design\">It is a great read.<\/a><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\">My personal experience is that Apple Pay is really thriving. \u00a0I use it almost every time that I purchase something in real life. \u00a0Pretty much every store I go to in NYC takes wireless payment and I use Apple Pay. \u00a0When I took a vacation in Spain and Italy with my family this summer, almost every restaurant and store I purchased anything from took wireless payment and Apple Pay. \u00a0On top of that when I need cash in NYC where I live I don\u2019t need my bank card as Chase allow you to use your Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to enter an ATM space and activate the machine, just like a bank card. \u00a0It has gotten to the point that I don\u2019t actually carry that many credit cards in my wallet and leave them at home.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\">I would like to see more websites use Apple Pay for payment. Right now one of my frustrations is that I have to type in and put credit card information on website. Apple Pay on websites has not taken off like it has in the physical world.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\">One of the main reasons to use Apple Pay, other than convenience, is security. No vendor or retail operation will get your credit card information if you use Apple Pay. \u00a0Credit card fraud is a real problem. \u00a0I recently had to replace a credit card because I saw a charge that I didn\u2019t make. \u00a0I am sure I once used that card in the regular way instead of Apple Pay.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\">The other thing about Apple Pay is that it is not only for transactions. \u00a0Pretty much most tickets I purchase end up in the Apple Wallet. \u00a0Including U.S. Open tickets and air travel tickets. \u00a0Soon the subway and buses will probably allow for entrance with Apple Pay or Apple Wallet.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 24px;\">What is going on is your iPhone or Apple Watch is replacing your wallet.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AppleInsider.com has a nice overview and analysis about how Apple\u2019s Apple service and technology has thrived. \u00a0It is a great read.
